"We wanted to write and tell you what a wonderful holiday we had in Casa Abilheira once again. This was our third visit as you know and we are still discovering new restaurants and places to visit.
The house is in such a gorgeous setting – we love sitting on the verandah and gazing at the view down to the coast. The garden seems to get better each visit – in June the flowers were lovely, Pedro does a great job. It’s relaxing to stroll through the garden down to the pool on a hot day. The pool is a great asset to the house and, despite the secluded setting, has fantastic views.
We very much enjoy eating out at the local restaurants – especially the Rampa, the Paraiso da Montanha and the Jardim das Oliveiras. One of our favourite excursions is going to the beaches on the west coast, especially Praia de Amoreira just by Aljezur. The scenery is spectacular there and the café overlooking the beach is very good.

We had a great time at Casa Abilheira.
The size of the villa is such an asset; combined with the view a group of 8 can have a really relaxing time. We had a fair amount of cloud and wind during our visit, so we were not able to sit out on the veranda and by the pool as much as we'd hoped. However, the space inside and with the views outside meant that this was still a very comfortable space.
You might want to consider more photos of this aspect on your web-site (though I haven't checked if you have updated it since 2004) as it's very appealing.
The veranda and pool area were absolutely great when we could use them.
I don't know if you have changed your site, but we took it as accommodating 7 but were surprised that there were 8 beds.
It's hard to say what would need improving, we had everything that we needed I think.
We'd love to go back again sometime if there weren't so many other places to go to!
